Oh, Juliet sounds so fun but she is smart. She doesn’t want any one messing with her man!! I can understand that concept. Why does she have to stay in the cage? And for how long a day? Is it just when you are gone?

This is one of the reasons I take her walking with me. Well I will. I’ve only taken her once so far. Still trying to make sure we have a good bond before I take her out in public. But anything that stimulates her is good for her. I get her out several times during the day and let her sit on my shoulder but after about 30 minutes, she’s bored with that and becomes a pain when I’m trying to write. :)

The bond is strong enough, so I will start taking her more often. I plan to walk this afternoon and I plan to take her.

Yesterday for my walk I went down to the lovely dress shop to have another shirt made for me and then I went to see Jesse, the Bonsai master that lives just up the hill. Feels more like a mountain. LOL Neither of those places are good for a monkey to be.

I’m hoping to get a diaper on her today but I don’t expect that to go well. LOL

She’s in the cage most of thee time. It has to be that way. We can take her out of the cage only when she is chained. That is for several reasons, I must be able to control her in case she decides to act like a wild monkey. She would be gone in a flash if she could but then she would die. In one word it is because she is wild.

I don’t want to leave her chained as the chain that was on her before hurt her very badly. She’s got scars. She has some kind of injury to her back leg that is related to the chain. We have created a collar for her made of nylon but even that hurts her. The less time its on the better she does. I’m hoping that if we can keep it off her for a while, whatever is wrong will heal. She has wounds from her old chain and the scars on her really make me angry. We give her aspirin for the pain too. They call it something else here but I think that’s what it is.

I have a large cage coming, supposedly on Tuesday. Its 10 feet long, 7 feet high and 5 feet deep. It will be the most freedom that she’s had in a long time and I’ll be able to take the chain off her. Its being made of steal pipe and mesh so that she can’t get out and kids can’t hurt her. its costing almost $200. Someone donated $75.00 to it, I’m thinking of asking for donations as i can’t afford it but not likely I’ll get any. :)

She is very smart. Jessie took some video of her last night throwing the basket ball and can. We took it with the camera as I’m out of Hi8 video tape. :( Its too dark. I’m trying to get her to work with it and brighten it up, very time consuming. I don’t have the time to do it.

Might post what I have but its really too dark. :(

Last night she nailed our 9 year old with the can. It still had a little milk in it which he thought was completely gross, not sure why as it was only on his foot.

Still funny though. We kind of expect it now so its loosing the unexpected effect. I wonder what she’ll do next.

I’ve almost forgotten you’ve got this site as well. At least it’s good to see Juliet bonding to you. I don’t know if there is any hope for Jess & Juliet getting close. I hope they will.

I think they will but right now they are too afraid of each other. For some reason, Juliet loves to gently bite Jessie but she gets more agreesive with it. Monkey’s do this to each other as a sign of affection.

Most of the time she wants to cuddle with Jessie, she loves her as much as a monkey can love but then sometimes things don’t go so well.

Juliet is a total baby in my arms now. She just loves for me to scratch her belly and chest.

She’s a wee bit afraid in her new cage as she’s out there alone. But she really loves it. I’ll post an update about her soon.

Rusty, I could never find that quick messaging box of yours when I need it.

How is Juliet? can you take her to the vet? Hope she’s not too bad. It will break my heart too if she dies on you. She is just starting a better life with you, I don’t even want to think of her dying after so many years in cruel conditions….. :(
