I found an interesting story about a vanishing way of life in the Philippines. A semi-nomadic people in the Philippines called sea gypsies or Badjao. They are mostly Muslim fisherman that have been active in the Philippines for a thousand years or more.

I think you’ll find it worth the read. Many Filipino look down on these people. I think that’s a mistake. Its part of the heritage of the Philippines and a rich one at that.
