One of the main positives of the Philippines can easily turn into a negative. If you’re coming to be with a woman, you need to be ready for the possibility that she will not show up. You might want to even hire a private detective to check her out before you get to devoted and committed to her and certainly if you’re sending her money. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “I thought my girl was different.” Sometimes the girls fool themselves, thinking they can leave their home town to be with you. Sometimes the girl was only fooling you. Be very careful of that.
